The corporation is an important base for producing hydraulic components and machineries in China, and one of the largest hi-tech enterprises with scientific researching, developing and trading in Chinese hydraulic industrial field .It was set up in 1988, then changed into a state-own corporation .It has total capital of 900 million Yuan(RMB).There are 9 subsidiaries and 3 jointventures .

In 1993,the corporation was listed in 500 biggest machinery building enterprises of China. Now, it is also one of 10 big hi -tech enterprises of Shanxi Province with key assistance by local government during the tenth"Five Year Plan".The corporation is at the list of the total assets ,output value, profit and taxes payment among the same industrial line of China.

The technical center of Yuci Hydraulics Co. Ltd was set up in the ninth"Five Year Plan",which was only state level hydraulic technical center approved by the National Economy Trade Committee, General Customs Adiministration and State Bureau of Tax .With a strong tech-nician team, advanced machine-tools and testing equipment, the center had developed the first generation of hydraulic pumps and valves in our country on the base of the technology introduced from Japan, U.S.A. and ltaly. Since 1963,the members of the group have produced and supplied lots of hydraulic components and machineries for metallurgical, machine building ,machine tool, engineering, agricultural machinery industries and scientific as well as national defence building projects.

Six subsidiaries are leading enterprises in hydraulic industry line of China. Which respectively are engaged in hydraulic components making for engineering, mobile, metallurgy ,water conservancy, light industry, rubber and plasties and coal mining machines. Recent years, they have bought a lot of special equipment and testing instrument form foreign countries such as Japan, South Korea, U.S.A. and Germany, and adopted CAD/CAM system as well CIMS system. Part of quality control systems and key hydraulic products of them have been in conformity with GB/TL2001-94idt ISO 9001:94 standard.

The main products of the corporation are three kinds of common valves, modular, cartridge, proportional valves(on the technology introduced from Yuken of Japan and Vickers of U.S.A.),vane pumps(include mobile steering pumps and Atos vane pumps), gear pumps, large bore cylinders(400~1000mm bore),filters(EPE technology of Germany),solenoids, hydraulic hammers, hydraulic supports as well as large and middle size hydraulic power packages. Besides, the corporation introduced an air impact moulding line from FA Co. of ltaly and electrochemical sand cleaning equipment from U.S.A. to produce hydraulic castings with complex chambers for customers at home and abroad.. Now. annual output of the corporation is about 450,000 pieces of various hydraulic components and accessories which occupies 10%of total output in China. The corporation has supplied hydraulic components and systems for well-known enterprises such as No. One and Two Mobile Factory, Xianmen Engineering Machinery Factory, Chendu Engineering Machinery Factory and Xuzhou Engineering Machinery Factory. It had won three bids of the first inviting bids of Yangtze Gorge Water Conservancy Project and built more than 30setsof hydraulic systems with world advanced technical level for the lock gates. Part of hydraulic products are exported to European, Japan. Southeast Asia.Middle Eastern countries and areas.

The headquarter of the corporation is located in Yuci of Shanxi province. The province is not only the base for power source and heavy chemical industry. But also ancient Chinese culture origin place where has numerous historical sites such as the Yungang Grottoes in Datong, Wutaishan Buddhist Spot, Hukou Waterfall of Yellow River.
